Ease of use, ease of installation & energy conservation
Ease of use –
This is always a prime concern. Our scene based controls respond to a single button press to set all the lights in a room for a particular mood or task, or if you prefer, each individual light can be controlled independently. Our OLED display plates are bright and clear from any angle, and provide icons or text to indicate the function of each button
Ease of installation –
This helps keep the costs down. The modules can be fitted to any manufactures decorative plates, enabling them to match the other wiring accessories on the installation. The data network uses low cost cable to connect devices and modules together with quick connect terminals. Device and zone addressing can be set up using the devices themselves without the need for specialist installation software
Energy Conservation
A very important consideration, both in terms of cutting costs and reducing the environmental impact. Different sensors can be incorporated into the system to automatically turn off the lights in an unoccupied room, dim chosen lighting zones along with soft start technology, which reduces energy use and extends the life of halogen lamps, saving cost and reducing landfill waste.
LED Lighting is set to replace halogen in the near future, and this system can be set up to dim certain LED light sources. More complex modules can be linked to this system, for example, music systems can be controlled along with having the capability to use in conjunction with an alarm system. All these systems can be operated using a hand held remote control which offers the flexibility required with modern day living.
