Description
The fire safe system has been developed to comply with building regulations which now requires the fitting to effectively restore the fire integrity of the ceiling and maintain an acoustic barrier.

  • Fire tested to full 100 minutes and approved to BS476 Part 1 1987.
  • Acoustically tested to BSEN140-3 and BSEN ISO 140-6 1987.
  • Complies with Part P of the building regulations.
  • Available in GU10 or LV.
  • Lamp included.
  • Complies with all the relevant requirements of part B of the building regulations - fire safety.
  • Complies with with all relevant requirements of part E of the building regulations - resistance to the passage of sound.
  • Once installed the light fittings offer long term protection immediately. There is no need for any secondary inspection to ensure the fire seal is in place as it is an integral part of the fitting itself.
  • There is no need for fire hoods or other peripheral methods of protecting against the spread of fire through the down lighter cut outs.
  • Easy lamp change.
  • The shower fitting IP rating is 65 making it suitable for zones 1,2, and 3 in accordance with bathroom regulations.
